More to a Caddy than Meets the Eye: Going Stylish

Do you remember the excitement of moving into your first apartment? Can you still feel the thrill of decorating every inch of it to make it feel truly like home?  Nothing beats the feeling of being able to have and enjoy your own space and putting your stamp on every nook and cranny.  You’ll probably be most excited with buying furniture for your room and the living room, but keep in mind that an organized and fun bathroom is just as important.  A nice and leisurely bath at the end of a long day is like having a tub of Ben and Jerry’s in the summer—pure bliss.

Shower organizing can get tricky, especially if you’re sharing the space with a roommate.  You’ll have to take into consideration all the stuff you have and determine how many compartments you’ll need for storage.  Luckily, there are a lot of stylish and functional shower caddies available in the market.  One thing to consider when purchasing a shower caddy is the material.  Plastic caddies are less expensive than chrome ones and come in various shapes and colors.  Chrome ones however are more stylish and come at a significantly higher cost.  Consider the color and the design of your bathroom and try to choose a caddy that will match it so it does not look out of place.  Who knows, a stylish shower caddy could be just the thing to pull its look together.

Consider also the space for mounting or placing the shower caddy.  You can go for wall mounted caddies if you’re saving space or a basket one if you already have a pre-installed hooks.  One type of caddy that is probably the simplest to install is the suction cup shower caddy.  By simply propping it on the wall, you’ll have a whole lot of organization done in just seconds.
